My most recent trip to the Greek island of Rhodes was pure relaxation heaven. I stayed at the Elysium Resort & Spa Hotel and had an exclusive holiday experience with the very best of what this island has to offer. The food, location, service and the facilities were above and beyond, and although I loved pretty much everything about this trip, these are my top 5:
1- The Fantastic Location
This beach hotel, located 15 km (9.3 miles) away from the international airport of Rhodes, offers breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea and occupies a prominent position in the beach of Kallithea. One of my favorite things about this location was the unsurpassed panoramic sea views.
2- Luxurious Amenities
Elite Club services, such as exclusive lounge area, or access to the beautiful rooftop restaurant offering a panoramic breakfast experience (just to name a few), made this stay unique. Opening the door to my room was a delight. It was massive with lots of walking space and immaculately clean. There were gorgeous ceiling to floor curtains with an elegant looking bed, very comfortable bedding, and the bathrooms had pretty much everything you need for a pleasant stay.
3- Pleasant Spa Experience
One of my favorite parts of this property would have to be the hotel’s spa. Besides the well-balanced menu of treatments, the star of the show was the hydro massage outdoor pool (140 sqm / 1507 sq ft) with hypnotic sea views. The hotel features other outstanding 5-star leisure facilities such as a well-equipped fitness center, and a lagoon-style chlorine-free swimming pool (1610 sqm. / 17330 sq ft).
4- Fine Dining Experience
Dining is one of the most important reasons to visit this place. The hotel has several restaurants offering culinary experiences from various cuisines around the world, and its location creates an absolutely stunning view from its dining rooms. My favorite was the Noble Gourmet Restaurant located on the top floor of the main building with its multisensory culinary experience focusing on Rhodian cuisine.
5- The Staff
The people make the place, and this is especially true with the staff at the Elysium Resort & Spa Hotel in Rhodes. They were friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and organized.
Overall, I had an incredibly enjoyable stay, and I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel.
